We created the Trial package to give new members a sense of what a paid hosting package can offer as the Trial package has many of the features paid members enjoy.

This ad free package is available to new subscribers free of charge for the first 14 days as they begin the process of building a website with us. After this time, we ask that they choose from one of our free or paid packages.

We hope this package makes for an enjoyable first experience with Web-Builder and allows new users to discover what Web-Builder can do for them!

If your free trial has expired, all that is needed to continue managing your site with us is to simply choose the hosting package your site is to continue with. We offer an advertisement supported free package, as well as a variety of paid plans.

We hope this free offering has been an enjoyable experience, allowing you to build your website with our powerful but easy to use builder and set of components, and ask that you select a paid hosting package if you enjoyed the features and benefits of your Trial package!

If your Trial package expired and no action was taken to choose another hosting package, or if your account has been inactive for a sufficient length of time, your website will become inactive.

''Note: When your account is de-activated your website and all the content remains intact. After your account has been de-activated for a total of four months the account and all the sites associated to it are deleted (As much as we would really like to, it's too expensive to keep accounts around for people that have stopped using the site).''

====I own a website with another host - can I move my site on to Web-Builder?====

It's not currently possible to move website pages from another host to Web-Builder. This is because the builder needs to create each new page your site uses and these must contain the [[Required HTML Elements]] the builder needs to interpret and display the page information. You can move website files over by downloading them from your other host then uploading them to your Web-Builder account, and copy/paste any text you want to move to your Web-Builder site to achieve a similar result.

We don't automatically submit websites to search engines at this time and note that over time, they will locate your website and index it accordingly. No. Because Web-Builder is a CMS (Content Management System) builder, you are editing all aspects of your website as they appear to an outside viewer and the current state of your website and it's pages will be seen while [[Using the Website Editor]]. This is convenient as you do not need to log out of your account or load your page separately to view your changes as you make them. This also means that only the internal builder can be used to manage your pages and no support is offered to external builders.

====I have no more e-mail addresses - how can I create another account?====

What we would suggest would be to create/use a [http://www.gmail.com Gmail account] because with one Gmail account you can have as many email accounts as you want!

For example, if your email account is foo@gmail.com you can make as many as you want by adding +addition to it. So these are all valid:

foo+someclient@gmail.com<br>
foo+anotherclient@gmail.com

etc..

And they all go to foo@gmail.com.

Recurring billing, or automatic renewal of your paid service upon expiration, can be canceled by clicking the "cancel" link in the "Next billing Date" field within your [[Account Overview]].

====Why is my payment not being accepted?====
</div>
This is typically due to a block or other error on the end of your card issuer. In these cases, we receive a message from your credit card company requesting you to call them. This is mandatory and when you do this, we ask you to authorize this charge with them, then contact us so that we can allow you to try this again. Please note that this can happen for any of the following reasons:

- Using a card that doesn't allow you to pay US funds to a Canadian company.<br>
- Using a card where the bank blocks Canadian transactions (or any international transactions). Many US banks do this by default or if when applying for the card you add 'Fraud protection'.<br>
- if per chance this is unusual credit card activity or purchasing on the Internet, the credit card company will prevent this purchase as a preventative measure.

Registering a Domain Name

Time to create a custom website address to increase the professionalism of your website and make remembering your address easier to remember? [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Domain_names Domain names] are a great next step to accomplish this and offer further flexibility over the address used to access your site.

====Registering a Domain====

Registering a Domain is as easy as clicking the "Register new domain" link in your [[Account Overview]] area, under the "Domain Names" heading.

Next, enter a domain name or keyword below and click "search".

The next page will show a list of results for your domain name or keyword search, displaying the search word with all available domain types we currently offer, as well as special country specific domain types to the right. Just click the checkbox beside the domain or domains you want to register and click the "Continue to next step" button when ready.

The last step before purchasing the domain is to choose the number of years you want to register the domain for, and create contact information to be associated with the domain.

Finally, you will need to add or choose existing Credit Card Information to make a payment, and enter or modify your Billing Information to complete the purchase of your domain!

====Managing your Domain====

Once the purchase is complete, your new domain will display in your Account Overview area under the "Domain Names" heading. Clicking on the "manage" button beside your domain in your Account Overview area will bring you to your domain management area.

Here you can acquire the nameservers your domain needs to connect to your Web-Builder account, associate the domain with websites managed in your account, manage e-mail catch all settings, or remove the site from your list of external domains. Additionally, if the domain is registered with Web-Builder and not added as an external domain, you can '''Modify your domain contact details''' here.

You can also, add, edit, delete or reset the '''DNS Records''' for this domain. This does require that your domain be configured with the Web-Builder nameservers listed here. A, CNAME, MX, PTR and TXT DNS Records can be created, edited and deleted. DNS Records are considered advanced settings and you may not need to manage these at all.

Catch all e-mail addresses allow you to control what happens when someone sends a message to an e-mail address associated with your domain which doesn't exist. Adding an External Domain

Already have a domain registered elsewhere that you want to manage within your Web-Builder account? This is done simply by adding the domain as an external domain in your account. This leaves the domain where you registered it, but conveniently allows you to manage it within your Web-Builder account in the same place as you may be managing your websites and other domain names.

Once your domain has been added, you'll be provided with a pair of nameservers that will need to be set in the domain management area of the company you've registered the domain with.

====Adding an External Domain====

To get started, click the "Add external domain" link in your [[Account Overview]] area, under the "Domain Names" heading.

Just enter your domain into the text box and click "create" to continue.

You should then see a page similar to the below image if your site has been added successfully. Please note that the image below is to illustrate this process and your designated nameservers may vary from the nameservers shown in this image.

If you intend to have this domain work with a registered address within your account (for example, a Web-Builder subdomain address), you can quickly and easily configure this by clicking on the "Associate with website" button. Just choose from the list of available addresses to connect to and click "continue". If you are already associating this domain with another website, it will be updated to point at the new website.

When titles and headings are inserted they will be wrapped in a span. The span will not appear if there is not title set, which allows you to style things differently if text has been omitted - but still giving you an element that always appears in that location regardless of the text being empty or not.
